DaLondra was the beloved wife of Cass Tech Class of 1987 alum Derrick French. In honor of DaLondra, Derrick and his family launched this scholarship in 2021.

DaLondra was someone who always loved to do for others, and she had a heart of gold. She would adopt families from Cass Tech and make care packages for students heading off to college.

To honor DaLondra and to keep her legacy alive, DDFI will award a $500 scholarship to four Cass Tech seniors heading off to college or trade school. The money can be spent however needed to assist with the student’s educational/career endeavors.
