David Boone is a former NFL football player who played for the Minnesota Vikings. David Boone was born Humphrey David Boone, Jr. on October 30, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan. After graduating from Cass Technical High School and Eastern Michigan University, Mr. Boone was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings. He played 5 games in 1974, the year the team went to Super Bowl VIII. Mr. Boone was also an All-Star Canadian Football League defensive lineman, winner of 5 Grey Cups. David Boone is a 1970 graduate of the legendary Cass Technical High School.
