About the Event
Some schools have a story but Cass Technical High School has a 111 year legacy of excellence. Many of the history making, ground breaking and pioneering ways Cass Tech has educated students over the years is sometimes forgotten in current day.
The Triangle Society plans to bring awareness of the school’s accomplishments and look into the future by hosting an annual Legacy Week. Legacy Week will run from November 10th - 16th with a schedule of activities designed to connect students, Cass Tech supporters and the community to the CT legacy.
To kickoff Cass Tech Legacy Week, The Triangle Society will sponsor a "Dine Out for the Legacy" fundraising event. We’re inviting guests to come out and join us at FUDDRUCKERS -Southfield on November 10, 2018 between 1pm - 6pm. When you present the fundraising flyer below when ordering, 20% of the purchase will go to Cass Tech.
if you can’t make the legacy week events, you can support the legacy with your tax deductible donation through the Triangle Society's Legacy campaign at https://www.thetrianglesociety.com/fundraising
What is Cass Tech Legacy Week?
Legacy Week is a celebration to raise awareness of the rich educational heritage and contributions of Lewis Cass Technical High School in the Detroit community. The goal of the week long event is to educate the Cass Tech family and supporters on our past and where Cass Tech is heading in the future.
Legacy Week is an annual fundraising appeal for The Triangle Society to secure funding for various projects that add value to the educational experiences of Cass Tech and our legacy of excellence. For 2018, the inaugural Legacy Week will look to raise funding to help purchase smart projectors for the English Department, add reading materials to the media center and upgrade the green-space at the school's south entrance in addition to supporting designated student organizations.
