The Triangle Society Story
The Triangle Society, Inc. (TTS) was founded by H. Terri Berry and Monique Bryant on May 1, 2016. Both women are 1986 alumni of Cass Technical High School in Detroit, Michigan. The group was formed after Monique and Terri began working with the Cass Tech Alumni Association to raise funds to support student activities at the school. It was obvious that there was an unmet need to provide for student programs at Detroit’s largest and most prestigious high school. TTS was created to connect students to the resources needed to support the many student clubs, organizations, athletic and academic programs at Cass Technical High School and preserve the legacy of excellence the school is known for over the past 112+ years.
Soon after the organization's formation, Monique and Terri garnered the support of fellow alumni Doretha Evans (C/O '81), Dr. Richard James, Jr. (C/O '85), Dr. Pamela Berry (C/O '71) and Dr. Van Momon (C/O '72) as members of the executive board. This support helped to develop the organization into a 501(c)3 non-profit entity to further the goal of raising funds for the school.
