Shoe Drive Campaign

We're collecting gently worn, used and new shoes to raise money for student programs at Cass Technical High School. Not only do you help us help CT students, but the shoes also go to micro-entrepreneurs in developing nations like Haiti, creating jobs by repurposing and reselling the shoes. It's a double donation!

Birdies for Cass Tech

The Triangle Society is participating in the Rocket Mortgage Classic’s Birdies for Charity program! We are excited to announce our 2019 partnership with the Rocket Mortgage Classic and this unique fundraising program centered around the first-ever PGA TOUR event in Detroit!

Birdies for Charity is a giving platform where nonprofits can create awareness and generate donations around the excitement of the tournament. Most importantly, there is no cost for The Triangle Society to participate and 100% of donations collected go back to each nonprofit. Donations can be made by a per birdie pledge or by a flat rate donation to the charity of your choice!

Adding a level of excitement, donors will be able to guess the number of birdies made by PGA TOUR professionals during the 2019 Rocket Mortgage Classic and win great prizes, including a round of golf for four at the historic Detroit Golf Club!

In our continued effort to preserve and fund the 112 year Legacy of Cass Technical High School, we hope you will join us as we raise funds through Birdies for Charity. For 2019, our goal is to raise $2,800.00.  These funds will be put towards funding the golf program at Cass Tech for our students.  Please help our mission by donating through the Birdies for Charity program today.

Greening of CT Beautification Project

Bridging the Gap.jpeg

At Cass Technical High School, many students’ goal is to matriculate to a four-year university or college. They have done the right thing by applying for scholarships and grants of which many have received thousands of dollars to help with the costs. They have done the right thing by securing internships and other employment opportunities to supplement their living expenses.  The one thing that falls through the cracks many times is the initial funds needed to afford the necessities to start their college careers such as transportation, dorm room items, classroom supplies, computers and printing equipment, as well as toiletries and kitchen goods.

The "Bridging the Gap - Senior Open House" for Graduates Program links a sponsor (DPS staff member, parent, alumni, community and/or corporate partner) to a graduating Cass Tech senior. The graduate will be paired with his/her sponsor, and will have the opportunity to attend a "meet and greet" session at Cass Technical High School where they will receive items from their wish list. The Triangle Society's goal for the 2019-2020 school year is to raise $10,000 for this program and sponsor multiple students in this program. If you would like to support this cause please make your tax-deductible donation to The Triangle Society today.
